The Waitsfield Children’s Center is governed by a Board of Directors, made up of parents and interested community members. The Board meets monthly and is open to all parents and staff to attend. The Board has a maximum of 8 seats in addition to the Executive Director.
Throughout the year the Board forms various committees to work with the staff and parents on specific projects, such as a Budget Committee and a Review Committee or a Fundraising Committee.

- Establishing and reviewing policies, regarding WCC’s philosophy, programs, rates, operations, etc.
- Approving an annual budget and keeping the corporation fiscally viable.
- Plan fundraising events to supplement tuition income, seeking grants for programs, supplies, and activities with support from the Executive Director and teachers.
